You are coming to the source.

Runners, brokers and agents buy scrap converters and e-waste to sell on, and they live on the difference. When you sell to PGM Recycling you sell direct, for our own account. There is no difference to live on. It stays with you.

The top price, explained

Where a middleman's margin comes from.

A runner, broker or agent buys your material for one price and sells it to a processor for a higher one. The gap between those two numbers is their income, and it is paid by you, in the form of a lower price than the material is worth.

PGM Recycling buys direct, for its own account. We test and weigh the material ourselves, and our price to you is worked out from the live metal prices, not from what a runner or agent could resell it for.

No third parties. No agent cost. Our collection agents are our own staff. Their visit, their vehicle and their testing equipment cost you nothing, and are never deducted from your price.

Our promises

Six things you can hold us to.

The source price

You sell direct to PGM Recycling. Nobody takes a cut between you and the metal price.

Free collection, nationwide

Home, workshop, office or yard, anywhere in South Africa. No call-out fee and no transport fee, ever.

No deductions

The price we quote is the amount you are paid. Nothing is taken off for handling, testing or collection.

Instant payment with an invoice

Cash or EFT the moment the material has been weighed and tested. You get the invoice on the spot.

Priced in front of you

Converters are identified and priced while you watch, with XRF testing where the reference number alone is not enough. Nothing is priced behind closed doors.

Registered and lawful

registered with the South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR). Sellers are identified as the law requires, and nothing goes to landfill.

Old laptops, phones and TVs in the cupboard, or the converter from a scrapped car.

Workshops

Exhaust fitters and mechanics with a steady bin of replaced converters.

Companies
